Delicious Art: tea inspired by masterpieces

The East India Tea Company‘s tea master Lalith Lenadora has developed a series of six bespoke blends inspired by masterpieces at London’s National Gallery.

His blend for Monet’s The Thames Below Westminster (c. 1871) captures what he describes as “My perfect London moment. The early morning mist slowly burning away as the sun rises over the river. Monet captured the mood in a way that needs no words, so the tea I selected would be what I’d want to drink as I looked out over this view. A warming, rich, malty Assam – perfectly suited for a dash of milk and sugar.”
