This week’s want has blossomed for three reasons. 1/Food trends dictate that tiny food is fashionable at the moment: cupcakes are over (don’t tell Hummingbird) and macaroons are the new hot ticket. 2/The salted caramel ice cream was the highlight of an amazing meal I had at Bob Bob Ricard earlier this month. 3/I’ve spent a lot of time up North, so I know that pie is always cool.
Hence, I covet this cutie pie from simplethings, a trendy LA eaterie. They’re tiny, they come in an array of flavours, and they adhere to a strict pie timetable. I can only ever visit Los Angeles on a Thursday or Friday now.
